When I first started I had a reading of 22; quit smoking about day 6, that was 3 months ago and haven't smoked once. reading 1 .. 3, which I'm told is average for a non-smoker in this age of pollution. Had quite a few 'sickly turns' but it was worth it. My BP is also better at 130/80; for a 65yr old with angina that's good. Ok, not so much angina pains either. My colour is better the nurse told me. I don't have to scrub my fingers and tongue anymore. Overall a worthwhile experience and its not easy, I still have thoughts about having a smoke, but will power and determination to quit is important. Oh, don't be complacent, stay motivated.
