When I had my daughters over a decade ago, I wasted so much money in pushchairs. Think I bought around 8 in a 3 year period. All of them were poorly built and bulky. So when I had my son last year, I knew to go with a maclareb as they've been around for Years!

I got the full XLR package with car seat. And I have got to say I love the Thing! I didn't bother with the soft cot as, from my experience, I just have no use for Moses baskets etc. my son is now 10months and has plenty of room to grow in his pushchair... Where as most prams are struggling to accommodate a 1 year old. The cosy toe is comfy and everything is machine washable (including car seat covers!). Sun screens ae good, but if the sun is bright, I do the same as most parents and tie some muslin to it.

I read the other review about off-road use, and I can assure you; a maclaren may struggle (hasn't been my experience) but other pushchairs would lose a wheel! I think maclaren know what they're doing and they do it so well. It's not usually the pushchair of choice for the first time parent, you usually h e to waste money on loads of other prams before realising this is all you need!

Honestly cannot fault it!
