"A RIGHT ROYAL MEAL TO BE HAD HERE" AT THE 'PACK OF CARDS'

there is food fit for an ACE, KING, QUEEN, or any old jack at the 'PACK of cards pub and RESTAURANT, in the village of coombe MARTIN, north DEVON. it is situated on the main village road of coombe MARTIN, and is the ideal place to visit for a MEAL, especially if you are staying in one of the holiday parks NEARBY, such as the john fowler sandaway beach holiday PARK, coombe MARTIN, which is one of the nicest holiday parks you will find in the coastal area of ILFRACOMBE. the 'PACK of CARDS' is at the opposite end of the village to john FOWLER'S holday PARK. if your legs are strong ENOUGH, then it is approx a two mile walk through the beautiful little village of coombe MARTIN. alternatively jump into your car and drive THERE. the 'PACK of CARDS' has more than adequate space to accomodate CUSTOMER'S CARS. there is a mixed clientel that use the pub and RESTAURANT. however it is a very orderly HOUSE, CLEAN, tidy and comfortably FURNISHED. it has several rooms in which to eat a MEAL, which can be ordered at your TABLE. coose where you wish to SIT, and a waitress will attend to you withing a few MINUTES. as is at any RESTAURANT, prices of meals VARY, and you can of course build upon them with starters and DESSERTS. HOWEVER, if you are happy to have the 'FIXED meal of the DAY' which is normally a 'MIXED GRILL', then you pay the fixed price of two meals for just £10.00 in TOTAL. be prepared to wait for 15 minutes at your TABLE, whilst the chef gets to work ONIT, as it is indeed cooked from FRESH. upon our PLATES, we had a lamb CUTLET, rump STEAK, pork CHOP, SAUSAGE, portion of garden PEAS, and CHIPS, accompanied by a bowl of deliciously tasting GRAVY. it was substantial in SIZE,FOR ANYONE'S BUILD, and we never left feeling HUNGRY, no overly FULL. it was exceptional value for £5.00 per HEAD, based on 'TWO meals for £10.00'. how they do it for that PRICE, considering the price of quality MEAT, i do not KNOW. the meats were tender and very SUCCULENT, and topped with CHEF'S GRAVY, was as if we were in HEAVEN. at this PRICE, whilst on holiday at coombe MARTIN, you will not find CHEAPER. it is most certainly worth a VISIT. i will give it a five star RATING. at the 'PACK of CARDS' you certainly get a good DEAL, and i have come up trumps each TIME. the meal being DELICIOUS, and no complaints
