A company entirely set up to favour and benefit landlords. My flatmate and I paid everything on time, made no damage to the property and spent our last days cleaning the flat from top to bottom. Upon enquiring about getting my deposit (2 MONTHS after I moved out)I was given a £250 charge for cleaning the flat I'd already cleaned. It seems they want the flat in brand new condition, despite leaving a month and a half before inspecting it, and naturally dust accumulates in the time it was empty. A typical cleaner charges around £10 an hour, which means they will have to have spent 25 HOURS cleaning a small two bedroom flat. Which is impossible. This company is exploitative in the extreme. It may offer brilliant value to landlords, but it is predatory on tenants because it knows they are much more likely to back down. It's just a shame that other estate agents catering to students employ the exact same tricks.
