We now have a date where we take over management from this abominable company, I would highly recommend exercising your right to manage if you have the displeasure of dealing with them.
Their service charges are extortionate, admin fees are a joke, we had our section 20 which they must have been making a tidy some from since the quote was a fortune. They refused to show us the breakdown of it so a flat owner decided to withhold payment which enabled us to complete our RTM application and proceed with this ourselves.
Two years since notifying them of a roof leak, this is still not fixed (absolutely no work was ever carried out whatsoever), even though they have our money, still! Had to repair this temporarily myself until we take over management, then we will include it in our section 20.
Very stressful when it rained as water would flood our flat.

RTM did it go smoothly, did you receive counter claims.

Oh dear! This sounds very familiar.
We are being asked to pay a bill that we doubt exists (gutter clearance)
In asking for the invoice we have received one for another property in the same road and this morning a second 'invoice' that has been written by the girl in the office. No letter head, no contractor name, no detail of works carried out...nothing!
As we have the invoice for the other property I know what it should look like.
Un-answered emails are a constant issue and I am now being threatened with court action if the End of Year account is not paid in full.
I have stated that I will pay what I owe and the rest if they find the invoice!
