So, Countrywide - where shall I start? How's about Trading Standards and the FSA who I'll be writing to next.
In summary
Arbitrary demand for previous years 'maintenance' to the sum of £800 which I have to pay within two days (letter dated 2nd December demanding payment in 7 days, but they didn't *actually* send the letter out until the 5th - received on the 6th). Four months earlier I received a load of meaningless paperwork with incoherent covering letter babbling about separate 'demand of payment' which was never received - I asked where it was, didn't get a reply - until now from their debt management department.
Terribly constructed and confusing letters in general (often paying unnecessary postage, ie: one letter in a large envelope, who pays for this? me!)
No answer to emails, ever.
Nobody working there knows what the hell they do, let alone their colleagues (I asked who Countrywide's regulatory body was, only to be told 'Suzanne').
Appalling standards
Unmanaged estate (ie: no working streetlights on the estate - pitch dark at night)
I could go on, but I've letters to write........

I am also having the same problems with this estate in Rugby, I assume everyone has received similar letters. If we could get as many people as possible to write about their personal experiences of Countrywide on this website, and if possible email me at redijedi3000@msn.com so I can look at how extensive the problem is
