I bought my house from new on a Taylor Wimpey Development and Chamonix Estates have "MANAGED" the site since.

The first thing that caused concern was the two years in a row I was paying for a play park that didn't exist, it hadn't been built yet.

A residence group was formed and meetings held. But same things came up over and over again. These meetings were held 6 months apart. One particular thing was the fixing of steel road pollards. It was brought up on a 2nd meeting and was asked why it wasn't done as the firm had come out to fix them in but the pollards weren't on site. It then comes to light that the said pollards were in their office and had been for 3months.

They award contracts to themselves, which means if they do a bad job (which they do)your complaining about Chamonix Estates to Chamonix Estates.

The accounts are published every year and people living in the flats were paying an unbelievable amount for window cleaning. I asked my own window cleaner how much he would charge. I passed on this amount to the account manager for the site at that time.
Low and behold the amount charged for window cleaning came down to £1 more than my window cleaner had quoted.

I could go on and on but it isn't worth it. The latest complain is of Chamonix estate workmen urinating behind bike sheds.
