''Bank'' is probably an over-glorification of what is effectively a credit card company. Please note you are immediately crippled by CASHPLUS' credit limit of £15,000. I was told to that this could be increased, and was asked to send in details of my clients, an invoice and terms of business. This was done in great detail but Cashplus appeared to have lost the email. It was sent in twice more and my increase was rejected with no explanation. With a payment due in imminently, I have been told it will be rejected .....I asked for a call back and was promised one the next day ..2 days later nothing. I was told by customer services that they are not privy to information from the head office and no solution to this issue was proposed. A second customer services employee told me they could not accept payments from abroad, contradicting an earlier employee who gave me an IBAN number. A 3rd customer services rep did not know what an IBAN number was or that CASHPLUS uses Natwest as a payments intermediary for overseas credits. With my payment about to be sent back to my client, I was told to call back at 9am the next day and they ''might'' (but could not be sure) if they would have an answer. I then received a text (unsigned) saying they could not authorize my transaction increase, with no reason given or again any suggestion on how to resolve this very serious and embarrassing issue. It appears the telephone support staff are poorly trained, powerless to make decisions and know very little about banking. I only opened this account for expediency as Cashplus supposedly could get me up and running more quickly than a high street Bank.
I would advise any person who is serious about the credibility of their company to ''STAY WELL CLEAR''......DO NOT ENTERTAIN ANY IDEA OF BANKING WITH CASHPLUS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NORMAL & FLEXIBLE BUSINESS BANKING SERVICES.
I have now set up an emergency meeting with BARCLAYS business banking and will be moving to them imminently.

Thank you for posting that, i am having a similar problem with them. they have refused to increase my credit limit - even though there is no credit involved - it's my money getting paid into them and they are telling me I can't pay in more than £15,000 - I feel like they are being suspicious about the money I am paying in and wanting to know where it comes from. Absolute joke. Its the first time I have had TOO MUCH money in a bank account!!!!!!!!
