Applied for a card 12 days ago as it was faster than waiting for the bank but they asked me to send I'd which I did 8 days ago, still waiting so I put credit on my phone to ring customer services I then spent 12 min in a que which ate up all my calling credit 41p per min. My advice is if it's this bad to start with it ain't going to get any better.

I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to open an account for you at this stage. Without specific details I can’t give you any more information on what’s caused the delay, but I can assure you that we work very hard to open as many accounts as possible, as soon as we can.

To help you keep up to date on the status of your application, if you visit our personal website, and navigate to the ‘Get a Card’ Help page you’ll be able to find our application status tracker tool. It’s under the heading ‘Getting your card’ - just look for the FAQ on ‘How can I check the progress of my prepaid card application?’

And, we’ll always notify of the outcome of your application once your documents have been processed.
