2nd time this company have been very unreliable

I was told that I would receive a text with an estimate of the time the delivery was due. Nothing. Contacted webchat to be told I wasnt allowed this service as I hadnt paid for it. ??? Of course I hadnt paid for anything, I didnt send the parcel to myself. I was told the delivery would be there by 7pm .... this was at 9.30am and by 7.15 still no blinkin parcel. Then told if I didnt want it, refuse the delivery and it would go back to the sender !! Was then asked if parcel could be left with a neighbour - I had strictly said not to do this as a previous parcel went astray, I was told it was with neighbour, no card through the door and neighbour said they had never taken in a delivery ??
I have had loads of parcels delivered from other companies with no difficulties whatsoever, shorter time slot, tracking online, good communication ... not Yodel. From now on I will ask specifically if companies I am buying from intend to use Yodel ... if they do I will shop elsewhere.
