Yodel were assigned to collect a microwave from us on behalf of Tesco. Their courier refused to take it because it wasn't bagged or boxed. That's Yodel's policy and I've no problem with that but what happened next was pathetic. I had a large bag upstairs and it would have taken 30 seconds to fetch. The courier refused to wait and started arguing on our doorstep, complaining that he'd had a bad day and someone had bumped into his van and "I don't have time for you to get a bag." Complained to Yodel about this and spoke to a supposedly understanding bloke on their customer service line - but it made no difference. He promised Yodel would be back the following morning and would call to arrange a time. That was the last contact from Yodel until a note through our door appeared…eight days later, saying someone had just been to collect the oven. When they finally came back (another three days later) it was the same courier. When I told him I'd complained about him first time round he said "I don't care." He was miserable, argumentative and ended up shouting at me as he went to his van. This company has no standards and I'd never use them willingly again. Pathetic.
