Worst courier company ever!

I received 2 text messages from UK Mail on Wednesday morning telling me that my parcel will be delivered between 16.57 & 17.57 at my work address. Half past 5 came & I finished my shift but my parcel hadn't arrived so I thought it'll obviously come a bit later & so I'll come back for it. I had things to do. Anyway later on, I checked the tracking & it said it had been delivered at 17.32 so I had only just missed it! So I decided to go back to work to pick up my goodies. It took me half an hour at this time of evening in rush hour traffic to get back to work, only to be told my parcel HAD NOT been delivered at all! I couldn't believe it, why did the tracking say it had been delivered? I now faced another half hour again in rush hour traffic to get back home so I was NOT pleased, because it had been a wild goose chase. When I got home it was past 7pm & so UK Mails offices were closed so I couldn't ring them to find out what was going on.
So I rang them the following morning, they told me it HADN'T been delivered, because the driver couldn't find the address. Firstly, why did they state it as being 'DELIVERED' thus sending me on that wild goose chase for nothing & secondly, why couldn't the driver simply ASK SOMEONE where this address is. It's a PUB, it's a very big building, It's the ONLY pub on this street, & the ONLY pub in the whole of area! But the driver couldn't simply ask someone? The person I spoke to on the phone couldn't answer any of these questions. Also, they have my email & phone number but they couldn't use these lines of communication to ask ME where it is....I'm astounded at the incompetence, other couriers manage to use common sense but UK Mail can't? It doesn't end there unfortunately. They then told me it won't be delivered today either, So were they just going to hold on to it? They finally told me it would be delivered the next day (Friday) but guess what...no delivery. I phoned them again, & they told me it hadn't even been sent out to be delivered! I'm absolutely fuming now, so she told me I'll probably get it tomorrow, (Saturday)......and what do you think happened on Saturday? Absolutely nothing, NO PARCEL. It's now Sunday. So whether I get it tomorrow, 5 days late, is anyones guess. I've also emailed UK Mail twice & received no reply - doesn't surprise me. Worst courier company ever!
