Delivery was due on a Saturday, and I received a call from a withheld number just before 9am. "I'll be five minutes, I'm just checking you're in," the guy says and cuts me off just after I say yes.

Two hours later I'm standing outside waiting with no delivery. I call UK Mail, who don't answer their phone after six minutes on hold to their 0845 number. Instead I had to call the company I'd bought from, who eventually got through to my local depot.

Speaking at 12pm, he'll be 45 minutes to an hour, I'm told. An hour and ten minutes later, the delivery finally shows and the guy says it's not his fault, he didn't know what number on his phone was mine and the parcel wasn't actually on his van at 9am. "They'd" forgotten to load it onto the van he says, and only apologises after I ask him to.

The parcel arrived four hours after the five minutes I was promised. The website is abysmal, the telephone service is non-existent, the driver (or mine at least) is incompetent. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
