Take money for express delivery and not turn up or care

I booked a parcel for same day collection with Interparcel, i wanted an express delivery, so booked the TNT express next day delivery, whilst booking i was told on the net that collection would happen today ( the day of booking ), so i booked this and paid £16.82 instead of the £8.99 i usually pay.
Well the day ended without my parcel being collected, so i rang interparcel in the morning, and they said i had to rebook, i could not have y money back or a refund, i insisted that the Express has now gone out of the express delivery, and that it was now just a normal collection and delivery, as they failed to collect.

they would hear nothing of it and just blamed TNT for the non collection, i contacted TNT and they were not aware of any technical issues, which leaves me to believe that the operator that took my complaint was not telling the truth.

needles to say, i will now be moving all of my parcels to another contractor.

I made a contract with Interparcel for this delivery and paid a very high price to do so, then in essence get told tough luck when when they do not collect the parcel or inform me of any problems, but still want the top money to do so.

i will be getting my money back via the credit card as the service i paid for was NOT what was delivered.

yes, TNT send apologies, but no reason on why TNT let me down, do you think that anybody in TNT or Interparcel can stop passing the blame and give me a straight answer to a straight question.
" why did you not collect my parcel on the day i paid to have it collected "
but i suppose that you will keeping blaming and pointing fingers like children, and not the professional you make out you are, and BTW just seen the new advert for TNT on the tv, good advert, but if this farce is anything to go by, then it is a front for a lie
