In 2012 I sent some documents to South Africa and the charge was £23.15 This current delivery (for exactly the same item and to the same address) was £45.95 On phoning your offices to query this I was told that the lower fees only apply to collections from a Company. I do not think that is very fair, and cannot see why it makes a difference where the collection takes place! Apart from the price I was very happy with the delivery service. (read more)

I have not used a delivery service other than the Post Office before, so this was new to me. The whole process was simple to use, and the price was considerably lower than the Post Office quoted. Collection happened at the agreed time, and the parcel came the day after. I don't believe the Post Office would have matched this. (read more)

This is the 3rd time I have used Rapid parcel to deliver an item from the UK to Greece. To be honest I choose them on price first of all but they turned out to be life savers. On my latest delivery I had problems logging my credit card details in and a very kind fellow called Frank went to great lengths to make sure my parcel was collected on time and delivered to me in Athens just hours before I was due to take a flight out of the country. Sending a parcel to Australia is a daunting prospect but Rapid made it easy and hassle free. Everything is laid out in an easy-to-understand fashion and the customer support (needed briefly to calm my newcomer panic) was exemplary. The best part for me,though, was the documentation - there were 7 sheets in total, all provided in one pdf with clear instructions on what to put where. Having researched delivery companies online: delivery times, costs etc. I was delighted to find Rapid Parcel. I read up on reviews and they seemed good, so I was fairly confident when I paid £40 to send a parcel to Cape Town. It was safely delivered within 4 working days as promised and cost so much less than any of the competitors. Was able to track it all the way too which was great. Have already recommended to others. The correspondence was excellent, explaining to me exactly what I needed to do. The documentation was sent quickly, although in a PDF file my ancient computer couldn't deal with, had to forward to a friend to print off for me.... but no problems with that. My only criticism is that the instructions for the generated paperwork does not match that which the collection driver had and resulted in having to reprint the paperwork and carry out the instructions as per his instructions. Good job as he explained that had I just sent off the parcel it could easily have not cleared through customs and would have eventually been returned to me. (read more)

The guy I spoke to also wanted me to email him about the details when I had spend 15 min on phone explaining everything. I have been living in Mallorca for a number of years and have used many parcel delivery services.Most of them start out well with all good intentions and then the price creeps up and they start making up lame excuses of why it costs more to deliver to Mallorca than anywhere else in Spain. Great easy to use website with a telephone number and a helpful team to assist. I ordered collection but wanted the option to drop off at a depot. The courier came as planned (mid morning) but I chose to drop at depot as the parcels weren't ready to go. Helpful staff at the City Link depot and all these details were noted on tracking. Good and fast service, can collect later than our normal couriers and offer cheaper prices for those who do not have enough shipments to benefit from the deals. Always offer more than one option, everything very clear. Only downside is not being able to set up an account and having to enter your card details every time including all the address details - which whilst secure, can be very frustrating on the rare occasion you have a number of parcels to send - entering line by line for 10 boxes...
