I had custom made flag for shop frontage dispatched with GLS - it went fine all way round through Europe to Parcelforce depot at Gatwick Airport. Since then problems started parcel was out for delivery on 21st returned to depot without any attempt to deliver. After several attempts to contact Parcelforce regarding this I got an answer that parcel is on route and will be delivered for this reason stayed in the shop until late no delivery. Contacted Parcelforce again today - was told they will contact depot and have them call me back - clearly they did not bother to do it before. Any way nobody ever called nor the parcel was delivered. I have contacte GLS in Poland prompt answer and very helpful - they found out for me that parcel is most likely missing and contacted Parcelforce to resolve it. As the item was custom made it will be another 2 weeks to get a new one, and team to install new signage has been paid already. If you want to stress hear lies have your parcel lost use Parcelforce.
Update - after finding direct number on one of complaint websites I spoke to Managing Diretor's Office they put me through to Gatwick Depot, after more than 30 minutes holding on the phone I was told they are unable to find the parcel there and they will call me back when they will locate it.... how much trust I have in this promise - very little
Update 2 - it is 4th day now for parelforce to deal with delivery from theirs Gatwick depot to Brighton (approx 25miles... My hopes for parcel to arrive are very close if not 0. Obviously there was no promised call, nor a delivery earliest at the morning Last 2 updates on track and trace 21/7/2015 18:19 Gatwick Depot Parcel returned to/received in depot

obviously there was no attempt to deliver on 21st. There should be some mail standards regulatory office to deal with this "company"
