i am ashamed to be British and to be associated with a ROYAL MAIL company. I was expecting a delivery today 09th April, I checked the tracking and noted that it had been loaded for delivery at 6:00am. I had someone wait in the house all day to allow delivery, at 13:20 I checked the status of the delivery. I noted that delivery had been attempted at 13:03, so I called the liverpool office to find out what went wrong. I was told that the driver had attempted delivery, spoke to a girl outside who told him which door it was, he then rang the door bell and checked inside to see that the tv was on. (Absolute rubbish) the tv was not on and the door bell did not ring as we would have heard it. I can only assume that the driver who had asked a girl outside had been given incorrect information and aked on what he had been told rather than ring the door bell to No:1. Even though this was only 15 Minutes earlier it was not possible to have him return to my address and do what he is being paid to do and deliver a parcel. Needless to say this has made me angry that we have waited in all day for a delivery. But not as angry as I will be tomorrow when the driver returns.
