At the beginning of July 2019 I booked a collection and delivery service through Overland Express using DHL as the carrier. The consignment never arrived. After much chasing Overland Express admitted that the consignment had been damaged in transit and was deemed undeliverable by the DHL Distribution Centre. DHL advised me correctly to make a claim through Overland Express who were acting as their agents, and a claim was submitted to Overland Express on 22nd July. As I had heard nothing by 30th July I contacted DHL Customer Services directly. They advised me that Overland Express had not submitted a claim. then followed many more phone calls to Overland Express but no progress. I chased DHL Customer Services personally and they confirmed that the claim had been finalised with Overland Express on 4th September. Hearing nothing I contacted Overland Express again on the 18th September and they denied that the claim had been settled. "This is not the same information we are being provided so anything that speeds up the process is welcome". To date I have heard nothing from Overland Express. Throughout they have stonewalled, not returned calls and ignored emails. I have no confidence in their ability to provide recompense should something go wrong with a delivery. Use at your peril!

I sent a parcel through yourselves and DHL Express to Lisbon with pickup Tuesday morning, it was supposedly going overland with a four day delivery, which was most acceptable, but it was delivered by 1pm the next day! I just wanted to say thank you for the great service and excellent price and also the help and advise you gave to me prior to booking. I will certainly be using your services again and would definitely recommend your company.

Used overlandexpress to send a parcel to Dubai, Surprised how quick it got delivered. It was there on third day. Amazing, will definitely recommend. Excellent value, excellent service.

I've used Overlandexpress to send a bag to France from the UK. They lost my bag. This happened in July 2013, after several email sent they finally answered me (october 2013) about the outcome: no insurance can cover my loss. So in the end, after waiting several MONTHS I'm being said that I lost my bag, that I won't be reimbursed for it and that they won't even reimburse what I paid to send it to France. My advice, don't use this company unless you want to use money and time.

The bag was a plain leather bag, not wrapped and the parcel label did not stick to the material and came off. We have a section on our website that gives packing advice and it is strongly recommended that all items are correctly packed. Parcel labels do not stick very well to leather and canvas and should be wrapped or boxed. The insurers took 3 months to advise that they would not honour the claim, as it was insufficiently packed.

My experience: I needed to send a small parcel to my son in Myanmar (not the easiest of destinations) and surfed to find the cheapest option. Ended up on the ParcelMonkey site where they said that it could be sent by ParcelForce. Filled in the forms, paid the money online and then waited in on the collection day (not possible to select a time or even a portion of the day such as afternoon or morning). Nothing happened. No collection. No word from ParcelMonkey. Just a dumb message saying that the parcel would be collected that day. The problem with ParcelMonkey is that it's limited idea of service is internet only. There's no call centre, just online forms. The following day ParcelMonkey's site updated to say it would be collected that day. Sent a message to their support system (and an urgent email to the CEO - [email protected]) Then a few minutes later ParcelMonkey sent another message back saying that the service I'd chosen didn't deliver to Myanmar after all and would I like a refund. Took it like a shot and would advise against dealing with Parcel Monkey if you want to deal with a real guy with real people. But I still had a pacel to send to Myanmar. Found Overland Express online, price was reasonable and it said they could send it via DHL (as an aggregator their price is cheaper than buying from DHL direct). The service from start to finish was brilliant. Because I wanted to know exactly what the he best way to deal with Myanmar customs imports was I was able to email and to speak to a real person. All the advice they gave was spot on. DHL had the parcel on a Friday morning and it was delivered in Myanmar the following Monday afternoon. Doubtless I will have more parcels to send to Myanmar and in future plan to use Overland Express.

Never had a problem with Overland Express, who are much better for international delivery than our previous couriers. Good rates, super fast service. Highly recommended.

We are in day to day contact with Overland Express, who are very polite, friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. We can always rely on them to collect and deliver on time when need be, even in snowy hazardous conditions. Would recommend them all the time.

We have used Overland Express for many years, mainly for international shipments, dealing with conference material on a regular basis. We have always found them to be very reliable and Stuart is extremely helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend Overland Express to other companies.

Used the online service this company provide, very prompt collection and I could track it on the website all the way to its delivery. Very friendly and professional service in the past, plus it's always cheaper to send bits abroad with these guys, top stuff.

We've used Overland on a regular basis for all of our overnight courier needs for almost 2 years and not once have we been let down by them. As mentioned by other reviewers, any queries are promptly and adequately dealt with every time. Great value for money on both standard overnight, and insurance overnight deliveries. Perfect for sending valuable items such as laptops/pc. Friendly, reliable, professional service that puts bigger companies (read: TNT, UPS, etc) to shame.

Dealt with Overland Express for a little over a year, based on recommendation from a customer. Always had first class service from them and if anything has been delayed, they communicate very efficiently so you always know what's going on. Prices seem fair compared to other carriers, deliveries and collections are very efficient, highly recommended.

Please can you advise use which name this was booked under? If you had submitted a claim to us, it would have been forwarded to DHL. You have stated that we have ignored your phone calls, how could we possibly do that?
