Having received a competitive quote for sending a medium sized parcel to a customer in Finland, I placed the order for collection at the beginning of August. Late August the customer wishes to know where his parcel is, the consignment number was checked upon the Ipost website and the status indicated delayed. First email to customer services sent, no reply.....second a few days later. “Professional Company”

My internet provider was down for a day and a half which caused no end of problems. I had paid for the ipost parcel but could not print the label . To the rescue came a lady from the Milton Keynes depot who contacted our local branch and arranged for the parcel to be registered and sent from my local depot. “Ipost HELL”

We paid ipost to pick up a small suitcase from Purple Parking London and dispatch it back to us, saving me go pick it up. After 14 phone calls I had to go get it myself because ipost call centres are manned by poorly paid workers who hate their job and just pass you to another department. They lied constantly about it either being lost, picked up and waiting, or that Purple Parking refused to hand over the suitcase. I must say I rarely bother to write reviews but in this case I'm so mad at the company that something needs to be done. I sold a desktop computer which I sent to my buyer via Parcel Pete for a very good price. They delivered it on time but damaged despite very good packing, so I can only assume it was thrown around. I would definitely recommend this service! It's quick, easy and hassle free. The online booking form was very straightforward, the prices were much cheaper than other sites and my package was delivered on time. I have recently sent out 15 parcels with them over a period of a week and 5 have not been delivered. just listed as delayed. when I send in query forms they just come back as case closed. my customers are livid. I cannot get parcels delivered or returned to me. no explanation. I have tried their on line chat but it shuts down during me sending info. very frustrating. I recently sent a parcel to Portugal on a 5 day delivery. After 8 days the parcel still hadn't arrived and there was nothing in the online tracking information, I contacted the customer service team at Ipostparcels to ask if they could track the parcel for me. They located the parcel and let me know when it was delivered safely and without asking as a goodwill gesture for the delay they refunded my cost to send the parcel. Arranged a collection yesterday, waited 8am-6pm in on a hot day with a two year old. No show. No contact number so I then Facebook them, send a contact form and tweet them. Item was £400 Amp for a theatre, Our venue was closed so driver threw item down 20ft drop onto concrete, Our CCTV pick it up landing on floor at 8.53am. Used Ipost twice now to post parcels to Japan and both times have been successful. The website is easy to use and Ipost staff are very quick to reply to any query on Facebook. Excellent service compared to others that I have used previously. Both parcels have been delivered in perfect condition and a day before the estimated date of delivery. “Quicker, cheaper and more reliable than Parcelforce”

I've used this company several times. They give a really reliable service for a very reasonable price. For instance, I sent a parcel to the Manchester area by Parcelforce which cost £12.80. The next week I sent an identical parcel (same size and weight) to the same address via ipostparcels cost, £6.97 AND not only did they collect it from my home it was delivered the next day whereas the Parcelforce delivery took three days!… Read Full Review

“Totally frustrating”

We have sent a lot of parcels for delivery with Ipost and today things have worked out OK. The last batch was 7 parcels that we paid for on 13th July for a 14th july collection. We are a 9.30AM to 5.30PM weekday business. These have not been collected and it is 16th July. They are getting some other company to collect the deliver parcels and then come to collect these at 6.22-7.22PM when there is no one at the office. the parcel was supposed to be 3-4 express to mexico but once they picked it up and I checked it went to 10 days delivey so I tried to cancel the delivey. this company managed to lose my parcel for two weeks then found my parcel and sent it to Mexico when I had cancelled wanting it to go to mexico, then they returned it to the Uk then took another two weeks to get it from the Mailing office back to Basildon, six weeks of stress and worry I had, they weren't bothered.... sent a letter two… Read Full Review

They let us insure 264 pounds of wine, and lost it. It wasn't broken, or damaged, they lost it and are now hiding behind their non-compensation items disclaimer to avoid paying out, despite letting us insure it for extended liability. Non compensation should relate to damage, or loss through damage. They lost it 8 hours after I dropped it to the depot, so my understanding is it's alright to steal or lose your goods as long as they can hide behind non-compensation items lists. Hi Dudley I sent an email following this review to the director the chairmen and finance director of ipost.Suddenly the attitude of the aims team changed completely, whether or not this made the change happen or whether it was various social media pressure I don't know. But I had a claim form sent through. I am however still waiting for the cheque which should have arrived last week. Company directors info is available online. They delete posts on their Facebook, but my comments did get to stay up for a day.
