Expecting an important delivery I ensured people were available and after a few days of waiting around I checked back with the supplier and found that Interlink Express had been used and should have been delivered from their Gloucester depot days before. Checking the site it advised that there had been no-one around to sign for the parcel. At the time stated there were five people around. I have CCTV so could prove no one had called. Spoke to them and they advised they had tried to deliver, had registered my door as being black, when it is white and glazed. I sent a written complaint including the CCTV evidence they checked their GPS and amazingly they were not at my address, several hundred feet away. We ended up having to take a 50 mile round trip to get the parcel in time needed. The Franchisee emailed back to say their error was a genuine mistake, which if they had used amazing technology like a phone they would have discovered they were at the wrong address. Subsequent email and compensation claim at a minimum for the fuel cost to collect something they got wrong has been turned down and they are not even replying to my emails now. I have experienced some bad courier but the poor customer focus of Interlink Express makes them the worst.
