I have been waiting for over a week for a new lap top bought from John Lewis on-line, the tracking information indicates it has been awaiting signature for a week. This will make me avoid using John Lewis on-line in future if this is the standard of their delivery service. For a shop which trades on offering a premium service (and generally delivers this in-store) to use such a rubbish courier service is short sighted and will damage their brand image.
