I sent a painting and whilst tracking it discovered it was 'held - damaged'. Then spent five days emailing, on-line chat, promised they would get back tome, I wanted to know which depot it was at. Finally they toldme it was Coventry but that they would not courier it back to me because the glass was broken and I had to go and pick it up. No offer of recompense for petrol, or time etc. They just do not care and I will never use them again and would urge anyone with something valuable to send, NOT TO USE HERMES!!
I wish that when you go on their site that it is already on the page what you cannot post so you can see straight away. I should have read more about 'glass fronted paintings etc' BUT WHAT I DISLIKED MOST WAS THAT FOR FIVE DAYS NONE OF MY QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED, WHICH WOULD HAVE SAVED ME TIME AND EXPENSE! THINK I MAY GO BACK TO ROYAL MAIL!!
