Hermes lie about the whereabouts of your parcel !

Unfortunately I have had many recent experiences with Hermes - every one of them BAD. Their tracking system makes no sense - please see following update I've had from them today "Date Time Status
17/07/2014 05:42 Out For Delivery
16/07/2014 15:10 Courier to Re-attempt

15/07/2014 06:03 Out For Delivery To Courier

Why does it state on 15/07/14 that item is "out for delivery" when it later states on 16/07/14 that "Courier Received"? How could it have been out for delivery when the courier had not received the item? And then on 16/07/14 sates "Courier to re-attempt" when he had just received it less than one hour ago and has made no attempt whatsoever to deliver - I was sitting at front door (drawing) waiting for them !. Sadly, this happens EVERYTIME with Hermes. I understand their drivers are self employed and don't receive a great wage for their efforts, but wish they would just tell the truth ! I will no longer shop with "Boots.com" or "Clarks.co.uk" until they admit their delivery service falls way below acceptable standards. If you want something delivered within the promised timescale advertised on the website you are ordering from, do NOT purchase from a company who use Hermes as delivery agents. Extremely poor service and lots of big fat lies to boot !
