Too much trepidation from this company to keep using them.

I have had items delivered on several occasions by this company and unlike some other reviewers, I have had all items turn up undamaged (though they have always been clothes). However on most occasions I've had items that I needed to sign for either lobbed over my back fence into my garden or handed to me without asking for a signature. In one case the courier just handed me my package and ran off. After checking the tracking system, it said "Signature from customer" even though I never signed for it! Which meant that if I wasn't in, the package could have been left anywhere as per other reviews.

In fairness to Hermes, the tracking info has always been correct, its just the behaviour of the couriers that has caused me some concern, as they seem to be signing for the parcels themselves and leaving them where they see fit. Like I said, I've always had mine but if you really must buy from an online store that uses them, proceed with extreme caution.
