“Awful Service”

Thought I would try Collect plus for my Business parcels, what a mistake, Locations seem to constantly change. Thought I found a good location but after sending about 60 parcels over a few months the guy behind the counter started picking and choosing which parcels he would take off me. Wouldn't take boxes and only took small parcels off me even though he had bigger parcels already there. “Two parcels arrived at destination very damaged”

I have used collect+ previous with no problems, In the last 10 days i have send 2 separate parcels which contained a pottery item, I sent these at my own risk because pottery items are not covered if broken so i can,t claim. These items were very well wrapped in bubble wrap and lots of airs bags ,plus a sturdy cardboard box They arrived at there destination, and was discribed as looking like it had been kicked in and used as a football The other parcel was all squashed in and broken the lady… Read Full Review

I am sorry to read that your parcel and contents were damaged in transit. However, I must point out, for the benefit of other readers that in our Terms and Conditions that the reason we specifically exclude ceramic items (any item made of clay and hardened by heating) such as pottery, china, (over-to-table) stoneware and porcelain from carriage is because we are not a specialist carrier.

i have used Collect+ on numerous occasions, with an ok service. i sent a parcel of fairly high value so insured it. it arrived in pieces it was packed in a very strong box with plenty of packaging. it was delivered by Yodel, need i say more. if i had realised they use these couriers as a third party i would not have used tehm, as they have an appalling track record. my parcel was obviously dropped or launched from a great height to sustain the damage it arrived in. i spoke to Collect+ customer… Read Full Review

i have used collect plus a number of times,maybe i have been lucky then reading other reviews,as i have never had any sort of a problem, for deliveries,always been on time to buyers,using through ebay,i have used two day standard delivery and the economy delivery,no problems,always arrived safely and undamaged. the only snag i do find is that all the labels are half A4 size,so for very small parcels the labels are to big,and just cant seem to find a smaller sized labels for collect plus… Read Full Review

 Awaiting a parcel and keeping an eye on their tracking website. All of a sudden a new entry " unable to deliver, customer movers"!!! When did I move, I'm a massive pub on the road, you can hardly miss me! Now been told by collect plus that parcel is being returned to sender, not even arranged to deliver again. Tracking number AXT9X9J. Still have no idea when I will recieve this parcel. The sender has not received it either. Also been advised by sender after he also raised concerns that the delivery driver did not even attempt to deliver the parcel in the first instance.

I posted a parcel on the standard service through collect plus themselves (NOT EBAY) I highlight the word eBay as the customer service (if you can call this service) individuals seem to use their EBAY purchasing system as some sort of how would you describe it 'excuse' as to why additional insurance may not have gone through - anyhow if the customer service reps would let me talk on the phone to them I could explain this instead at 9 months pregnant they insist on hanging up on me and wanting… Read Full Review

Ordered an item from Amazon Marketplace that was shipped using this service. Although full address details were provided at time of ordering (for a business with a reception area constantly manned), apparently three failed attempts were made to deliver the parcel during working hours. “400 miles off course & late”

Made an urgent order through Amazon on a Sunday night and I was promised delivery on Monday. In fact I was being reasonable and willing to take delivery on Tuesday (the day I desparately need the item I ordered). The distance between the collection point and the Collect+ depot in Hatfield where Amazon handed over the package was 100 miles. 24 hours later tracking data confirmed that the parcel has arrived in Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland by mistake. I am very sorry that your parcel from Amazon was mis-sorted - this is most unusual. When the item was received at the depot in Northern Ireland it was put on the next shipment for return to the mainland. Regrettably, given the sheer volume of items being processed on a daily basis it is not possible to isolate individual items for "fast-tracking".

Never had an issue with Collect+ until this week. 3 Collect+ locations in a row refused to accept the box to be returned to Amazon, because it was too large. The tracking history showed it never left their southern delivery hub. i have had the same thing phone the company help like " it was escalated to the investigations team ...LOL i had the "collecting agents phone number " drivers personal number as she called to check if in AND she never knew item was lost she told me the system ITS LEFT IN A public storage locker depot DREADFUL .. DONT know why they are still surving i have lost two parcels in late 6 months and one last Christmas arrived 4 weeks later

I think the best (worst) message I got was

"Sorry for the continued delay, we've contacted the warehouse and haven't had a response"

It's their warehouse, their own warehouse being unable to efficiently communicate with HQ should not be the customers problem nor a valid excuse!

my items were collected but the tracking show NOT collected the shop where items is dropped off is NOT secure so package must have been stolen DO NOT USE unless your item is not valuable i lost a drill and the company only refunded the postage costs item is where ... ? COLLECT+ should real the reviews fully and IMPROVE THE SERVICE ... help line guy at first seem helpful but after 20 minuntes all i knew was he was looking at same Data on the screen as i could get PLEASE USE YODEL i think its same type of company and 10% more = 100% better reliably

I fully understand that china items are not insured by Collect Plus but until recently have had relative success in safe delivery of such items. I do make every effort to pack extremely securely with plenty of bubble wrap, foam packaging, taping etc but recently two of my items have been smashed to pieces. I can understand that such items can arrive damaged but it must take a monumental impact to smash something into so many pieces. Posted an item I sold via ebay using collect+ was scanned at the shop ok and that is the last anyone (except the person who stole it) saw it. CC says it got picked up and taken to a depot and they will email me when they have news, well that was 72 hours ago and still no response.
