Took 9 (NINE) days to deliver a package, using the Standard (2 day) service, a mere 25 miles!

Day 0 - I handed it in at a shop (before 9am)
Day 1 - Seemed like it was collected by the courier

After there were no updates for 2 days I contacted Collect+ to find out the progress.
They had no idea where it was and would get the depot to investigate.
For several days I was fobbed off with the excuse it takes 2 working days for the depot to investigate.

Day 6 - Despatched from the reception depot (Livingston)
Day 8 - Processed at national hub
Day 9 - Received at delivery depot (Livingston !!!) and apparently delivered (I haven't had this verified yet)

So despite the shocking 6 day delay they made zero effort to speed things up and sent it from the Livingston depot
to the national hub and then back to the Livingston depot, which added another 3 days!

The parcel had a value of £100 so it was very stressful when it seemed like the parcel had been stolen, how can they just lose something for 5 days?
The 3 day diversion to the national hub was completely bizarre given it had been in the system for 6 days already.
Overall the service provided was unacceptably poor and incompetent.

We are sorry to read that we have let you down like this, Mr Grigor. We have looked at the associated case notes and can see that the customer support team have already replied to you and have refunded the cost of the label as a tangible gesture of apology.
