Borderlinx is expensive and their customer service is the worst! I won't be using them anymore. I found a company called Shipville and they have been great. They are fast, reliable and affordable and their customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend Shipville to anyone looking for this kind of service.

I'll start by saying it's not cheap. If you want a cheap option, go elsewhere. If you want your item shipped to you fast and hassle-free then use Borderlinx. I tracked my parcel from where I purchased it to the borderlinx facility. Within 2 hours I was notified by Borderlinx that they had received my package and they were ready to send it. I had ordered a backpack that I know now was in quite bulky packaging. So when I was quoted $114 to ship to the UK I was a little disappointed but paid for it anyway. Looking back now I can see that include their fee for doing this, (you are paying for a service after all), shipping and any customs charges. So if you break it down like that, it's not that bad. My parcel was shipped by DHL and was with me within 5 days. As I said, fast and efficient. Would recommend it to anyone looking for good quality service.

Do not buy from borderlinx! They are the worst company ever who under quotes on shipment values and way over quotes on postage so when you receive a broken item they can't refund nearly enough money! An absolute joke of a company!

The staff cannot provide consistent or accurate information. Claimed that they had tried to use their assigned address to place an order on a site that would not accept the address when I tried it. This is patently untrue because the only to test if the site accepts your address is in the final checkout. They asked me to provide the same information several times and when I finally asked them why they won't simply go into previous chats to check on the information, it turns out that they meant that they needed the information only when my parcel arrived at their facility. This whole exercise in to-ing and fro-ing took up two hours of my time and was complete fruitless. Finally, they resist answering direct questions and if they do finally answer the questions, they take some time to do so via the chat - which tells me that they are either researching the answers or they are not focused on their terminals. The questions, by the way, were routine eg: can you confirm that the parcel is in your warehouse? To show what a joke these people are...the link they sent me in a separate email to rate their customer service did not work!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid. They may be cheap, they may use DHL, but the hassle when trying to get information is simply not worth it. In they end, they are expensive when you compute the aggro and the time taken simply to get information on what should be a routine transaction.

A lot of US websites only ship in the US. And when you don't live there, you can't buy products you want. Thanks to Borderlinx, I can buy on Ebay, ModCloth, Forever 21 or Beauty.com and be delivered at home in Australia. It's very easy to use: just register (it's free). Borderlinx gives you a 'ship to' address in US, that you use on merchants websites. They handle all customs formalities: no surprises on delivery. I find their rates competitive. As they say, "shop, ship, enjoy!"
