The Porsche 924 is a great place to enter the world of Porsche ownership. They probably cheaper to run and maintain than any other Porsche. Don't expect Ford or Vauxhall prices for parts though. Mines done 170,000 miles and is used daily for a long commute. I get 38mpg on a run and it still pulls we ...

Good points about the Porsche 924 2.5s is 50/50 weight distribution, with good tires it handles like a god. Love to drive this car, and creates so much attention, I think every time I take her out someone asks a question about it. I had a 1984 924 lux about 9 years ago, but with the 2.0 Audi engine, it made all the right noises, but lacked grunt, now I've got a 87 924s, and the 2.5 porsche engine gives gr ...

For a great drive, get a 924S! The best combination of the 924 and the 944. Makes 911s look really ugly. Mine's now done nearly 176,000 miles and still impressively fast. I bought it about 6 years ago for £1,400, have probably spent £5,000 on it but I drive it every day and do around 1 ...

I drive a 1987 924S. the design for the old 924's is VW but 924S is Porsche. Its a 924 body over a PORSCHE 944 drive train. I love my car. gotta fix up some stuffs like the sunroof and headlight motor and paint but still it gets people's attention in a positive way. I plan to change the body a bit.
