We ordered plants at the beginning of the year which were due for delivery in May. Suttons asked us to wait a while as the orders were delayed. By June they had no stock to deliver. We got a refund voucher. No postage was refunded.
We went on to place an order using the 3 for 2 perennial offer. We have called suttons on a number of occasions and received various stories of where our plants are. One plant turned up. We paid full price and packaging for it. It would appear that we only get a discount if suttons supplies the 3 plants!
If the staff were being honest, the company systems are wrong or our postman is a keen gardener and thief. Next year, we will not be buying plants from Suttons as they are unreliable and have not delivered our goods or a satisfactory customer experience.
