“Poor quality of images”

Had a lovely holiday with my husband and parents and wanted to present my parents with a calendar of some pictures of the holiday. I optimised the images with their software tool. However when it arrived the images were so dark, you couldn't see their faces at all! Very very badly printed. Will not recommend it to anyone.
