antiunicom's review of Unicom Phone Company

“I found them misleading to say the least!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by antiunicom on 30/10/2012

We Have business lines with unicom and had a fault on the line which we were advised that it would cost £8.00 to redirect calls to a mobile which I thought was a bit rich considering I wasn't recieving the service I was paying for.

During this call I asked the adviser when my notice period to cancel the contract was to, which he replied I have to inform unicom by the 12th December 2012 after speaking to unicom today they are rolling my contract over for 12 months because the notice period THAT THEY TOLD ME was wrong.
NEVER USE THEM AS THERE WILL BE TROUBLE!!

Well now I'm proper miffed and off to OFCOM to complain as they want nearly £300 per line to cancel the contract nearly £900.00

Nothing like a bit of cheek is there!

Ghay's Response to antiunicom's Review

Just had the same problem, on the day of transfer from my previous supplier the line went dead! had to divert to another number (we are a doctor's surgery) and was duly charged for the divert and for all of the calls our patients made which were diverted to one of our mobiles! We hadn't even started using their product and were ripped off!! There response was that there was a fault with the BT open reach line and therefore we had to pay, now that's a bit of a coincidence on the day of transfer!!!!
