WHERE TO BEGIN, BT BROADBAND SPEEDS ARE DIRE SO THINK ABOUT BT INFINITY. WE WENT ONLINE AND PUT IN NUMBER AND ADDRESS AND "YES YOU CAN HAVE BT INFINITY" SO WE PLACED AN ORDER. ON THE DAY THAT THE CHANGE OVER WAS TO TAKE PLACE WE LOST ALL BROADBAND AND OUR LANDLINE NUMBER CALLS WERE GOING TO SOMEONE DOWN THE ROAD. WE ENDED UP WITH THEIR PHONE CALLS ON OUR BILL. THEN HAD NO BROADBAND AT ALL FOR THREE WEEKS OVER CHRISTMAS AND IT TURNED OUT THEIR ONLINE SITE WAS WRONG BT INFINITY HAD NOT COME TO OUR AREA YET. SO WE WAIT OVER 6 MONTHS AND THE BROADBAND SPEED HAD DETERIORATE BADLY SO WE CONTACTED BT AGAIN AND WERE TOLD BT INFINITY WAS NOW AVAILABLE. WE STATED "ARE YOU SURE?" AND AN EXECUTIVE COMPLAINTS MANAGER STATED YES "BT INFINITY IS DEFINITELY AVAILABLE" AND CONFIRMED THIS AGAIN. 3 MONTHS DOWN THE LINE WE CANNOT HAVE BT INFINITY AS OUR LINE GOES STRAIGHT FROM THE EXHANGE TO THE HOUSE WITHOUT PASSING THROUGH THE FIBRE CABINET. WE CAN NEVER HAVE BT INFINITY - 1. WHY WASNT THIS DISCOVERED LAST YEAR WHEN WE FIRST HAD THE PROBLEMS? 2 WHY EVEN TODAY DO THEY STATE ON LINE THAT WE CAN HAVE BT INFINITY TO OUR NUMBER 3. WHAT DID THEY OFFER US - NOTHING - THEY CHOSE TO QUOTE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT US DESPITE A EXECUTIVE COMPLAINTS MANAGER STRESSING TO US WE COULD HAVE IT - DID THEY SUGGEST MAYBE HAVING A SECOND LINE? NO. DID THEY OFFER TO PAY FOR A SECOND LINE BEARING IN MIND THEY HAVE CONSTANTLY NEGLIGENTLY MISPRESENTED WE COULD HAVE BT INFINITY? NO. ARE WE REFERRING THE MATTER TO OFCOM - OF COURSE WE ARE. MEANWHILE WE CANNOT EVEN WATCH IPLAYER OR NETFLIX ETC AS THE BROADBAND IS DIRE. MEANWHILE ACROSS OUR YARD MY FATHER IN LAW HAS BT INFINITY! THIS FIRM IS A SHAMBLES AND CANNOT EVEN OFFER A MEAGER £120 TOWARDS THE COST OF A NEW LINE, OH YES MEANWHILE WE ARE GETTING EMAILS STATING OUR NEW SERVICE IS NOW WORKING AND WE ARE BEING BILLED FOR INFINITY. I HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS COMPANY. IN MY LINE OF WORK IF I HAD BEHAVED HALF AS BADLY AS THIS THE CLIENT WOULD BE PAYING NOTHING BUT THEN AGAIN I DONT OWN A NATIONAL COMPANY DO I?
