I've been using Rebtel for 9 months now calling to and being called from Canada.
This service is great!! There's no way around that. I used to use PC calling and that was totally free but, but, BUT you had to be in front of your computer and so did the other person - a little difficult at times when you have a 6 hour time difference.

With Rebtel I can call from any phone I want to any other phone I want, no needing to set times when you both can be in front of the computer any longer. That in itself would be enough for me to use Rebtel all the time.
Then I got an Android phone and tried their app!!! The fact that the app 'intercepts' international calls and automatically uses the great Rebtel rates just makes things even sweeter. Another thing that I really appreciate is that the persons I call can also call me, using my account!

Now all I have to do is take my mobile phone and dial an international number - knowing that the Rebtel App will take care of 'protecting' my wallet.

I have seen some persons complain that the Free Calls are not really free - they complain that they have to pay the minutes to their mobile operators!!!! How they can think that Rebtel will cancel those charges is something that I don't understand - but I guess that wishful thinking is allowed everywhere... ;) I have had a few calls of 30-45 minutes with Canada and all I had to pay was the local minutes - the whole international call was FREE!!! Anyway, all I can say about Rebtel is GET IT!!!! If you do any amount of international calling Rebtel is a MUST on any Android, iPhone or Blackberry!
