SIM card received very late, after the promised shipping dates. Asked for refund, never received. Their financial department cannot identify my transaction any more, even if they received my payment immediately. My advice, never deal with this company.

I am of course concerned about other comments here on this site, but I have used prepaidsimcard in Spain, USA, Sweden in a total of 5 time with no issues. The service sends you a SIM card to a local mobile service provider, so you have to deal with them on their terms. That is not really convenient, as the APN and phone programming is also a hassle some times. The most critical thing is that it the double or more than buying a SIM card when you get there, but again, that can take days. I two days in Spain trying to buy a prepaid data SIM, but in most places they required a local social security number, which I dont have. That is some of the hassle that you dont get when you buy here.

We ordered a sim card for our holiday in the USA. They promised us a AT@T connection but we received a card from redpocket witch is connected with T-Mobile. The most terrible provider of the USA. There is only 3G? connection in big city's, not in remote areas. Although, in most of the places there was an AT&T signal available. Also in remote area's After complaints, prepaidsimcard was still trying convincing me redpocket is connected with AT@T. Its not true. Dont do this, You will be dissapointed!! Buy an AT&T card in the USA

I don't understand the negative opinions on this website. I have used prepaidsimcard.org for usage in the U.S., Malaysia, Spain, U.K., Finland and Japan and never had problems with their SIM-Cards on my iPhone. Setup-instructions were clear. Sometimes a configuration file needs to be downloaded and installed on the iPhone beforehand, which was clearly stated in the instructions. Their service was always fast, I always received the SIM-card on time. They might not be the cheapest out there, but I will go on using their service since I always got what I wanted.

Wow, I wish I had looked at this web site before using Prepaidsimcard! Like everyone else it seems, I received a sim that cost me 60 euro and never worked. Firstly, they sent me the wrong size sim, and not the one I ordered. But i managed to cut it down to fit. Then, none of the incuded data or phone credits ever existed. I had to pay up again to the local telco to get data. I was also never able to make phone calls. Emailed them during my trip, but they just replied words to the effect of, 'read the instructions'. Requested a refund upon returning home, but they werent interested. Predictable. From my experience, and from reading others reviews, this mob apears be little more than an online scam. Look elsewhere for your pre paid travel sim.

Hello, this is PrepaidSimCard responding. We are very sorry to hear about your experience of our service. Normally, our SIM cards do not include any initial balance, and top ups need to be added upon ordering to make calls, send texts and to activate mobile data bundles. We do state this on our webpage, but we are sorry to hear that it might have been unclear. We would of course be happy to review your case again. You are welcome to contact us at [email protected]. / The PrePaidSimCard / HolidayPhone Team

I bought 2 SIM, nano and micro, for Malaysia. I carefully followed up the instructions, inserted the card in my free Iphone (not locked) and dial 222. I got a Malaysian answering machine telling (I needed a translator) that I had to register the SIM. So I found a shop in KL central station, registered and went back to the hotel. But this time the card was not working anymore. It had been cut badly. So, I went back to Hotline central station, bought a new one (for 2 euros instead of 30, same service), then referred to the Sweidsh company "prepaidsimcard.org", with a pics of the dammaged card. They told me that the card was perfect, maybe my Iphone not free, and to send back the card to be refund. Obviously, with such a service, better to ship it by registered leeter (14 euros). So I decided not to be refund, and begin to write my experience on Internet.

Hello,
We are very sorry to hear about your experience with our service. For some of our SIM cards we do cut the cards to fit the nano and micro size. This should not be a problem as the chip is never injured and our customers rarely have any problem fitting the cards in their devices. If we did something wrong with you card, our policy is of course to grant a refund. Please contact us and we will look at you specific case and pictures again.
Best regards,

we got this card for the data, not for calls. the network came up (3 Like Home) but no data service at all. I con't contacted them, and they said things like "turn on the data and it will work" in spite of the fact that we followed every direction on two separate cell phones.

Coming from Canada to UK, seemed like a good idea to get a prepaid simcard for my phone. Just spent two hours of my trip trying to get it to work and had to buy extra topup vouchers because they either did not send with my sim card and definitely did not advise that vouchers were included or reuired. Got to the uk and could not initialize the phone and ended up buying more topup vouchers so I could activate. Customer support was helpful once I agreed to buy more topups, otherwise it was a no go.

Requested a SIM with DATA in UK and Ireland. Received a SIM with phone number in Austria and told to roam in UK and Ireland. This is terrible as you don't receive the speed and service from the tel-co (3) as if you had a local number. PLUS you can't receive calls from locals without them paying long distance charges!! After 2 days of using it, data stopped working for 4 days. I was driving through the UK and wasted half a day talking to 3 (who said I needed to call Austria), 3 local representatives (who had no issues with their data), and online/email conversations with prepaidsimcard.org regarding help. I was told that this was a issue with every 3 customer at first (lie), followed by the 3 tel-co is looking into it, to "we can't help you any further as it is in 3's hands..." I asked for another card shipped to my hotel for another provider that worked, and was denied. They charged the same as a local supplier and provided 1/4 the service.

Hello from PrepaidSIMcard.org. We are very sorry to hear about you experience of our products. On our website we do state that the Ireland SIM is a multiple country sim card, and that you won't receive a local Irish number when purchasing it. We apologize if this was not clear enough. The sim card should however work in both Ireland and the UK without any problems. You are welcome to contact us at [email protected] and we'll make sure to review your case carefully again to determine what happened. All our best / The PrepaidSIMcard.org team

Bought a SIM card for Italy. Received it in a letter from Sweden with a APN name in Austria. In Tuscany, did not receive a signal for Planet3, as described. Just the 3 normal Italian suppliers. Also manual setup did not work. When writing them from another computer, just got an extract of the installation guide provided with the card. Bought then one locally of an Italian provider, which worked perfectly. Don't even try to get a refund. They will refuse for sure.... Don't buy anything from them. It's a complete rip-off. If you have money to throw away and time to try to get the thing working and get angry instead of holidaying, go ahead!

Travelled to UK in July 2013. Arrived a few days prior to departure. Inserted SIM in london. Worked great without any issue for first four days. Then stopped altogether. Powered on and off. Reset all Internet settings. Removed and reinserted card. Still didn't work. Called for support, which I couldn't get through to. Emailed for support. Got a reply every time within an hour or two, which was good. But they had no idea how to fix the problem. So I had to make do with Wifi. My recommendation: I wouldn't buy from them again. I would just wait to get to the destination and buy one there.

Bought 2 SIM cards for my Iphone and Ipad2. For the 5 first days in Italy, in Rome, terrible reception and amost inexistant in Toscany pour the next 2 days. Try to get a refound though the live chat with a helperson, but they refused to refound my purchase. I took out the 2 Sim cards for my devises and will try to cancel the transaction with my credit card compagny. Also bought 2 Sim cards for a trip to Thailand in August and I am trying to cancel those 2 cards before having the same experience again. The publicity was not according to the reality! Nerver will I use that Prepaidsimcards.org again! Marc, from Canada

May 31, 2013: I bought two prepaid cards for use in Italy from prepaidsim.org on a website in English. I received the cards with a cover letter in English. The country code of the cards when they arrived was Austria. The phones switched on and operated as promised and I saw that the provider would be 3Likehome. Since then the service has been rubbish. I have been treated very shabbily. 3Likehome network coverage in Rome was virtually non-existent. I could get service in wide open spaces, but not in the street where I rented an apartment or in the centro storico. After leaving Rome for Tuscany there has been no 3Likehome coverage until I arrived in Siena. Here I discovered my service isn't working, and I don't have a clue what an SMS I received in German is all about. I suppose I have used my credit. Wow! That was quick! 3Likehome's website is only in German. Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't know how to recharge the card. Bad deal. And no tick for prepaidsim.org.

Avoid this company like the plague! If the SIM works in your phone it's fine, but if you have any problems at all, their 'customer support' is only there to blame you and deny responsibility. They deliver the wrong SIM, and refer you to the service provider of the SIM for problems. If you do that and that provider confirms that you received the wrong SIM, they deny it and say you should have contacted them... Even if they can't solve the problem, they still insist it's you, not them who must have done something wrong...

I'm travelling to the US frequently. Decided to try out prepaidsimcard.org and it worked out very well. The SIM uses AT&T network, which is good as it's the best network in the US. The 2GB data was more than I needed, as I used the data service frequently during my 3 weeks trip and it never ran out. Only backdraw is that the phone must not be operator locked, but I unlocked my old iPhone 4S for free (just asked my operator and they offered free unlocking on my old phone when I upgraded to iphone 5) and used that instead of the 5.

Saved me a few 100 EURO in roaming charges by using this product to access internet when I visited Germany a month ago. Coverage was great. Will definitly use for my next trip to Mexico in a few months. I got quick responses from the support team when I contacted them for some questions prior to purchase and also during my trip.

I had trouble with the set up of the SIM card and their customer support centre was terrible. They could not fix my problems, I had to call three times to get assistance, and they refuse to allows you to talk to a manager. Then when I couldn't get the SIM card to work they refused to refund my money. Will never use them again. And I discovered there are cheaper SIM cards in the USA.

Don't go near this company for Sim Cards they cannot supply what they say they can and they do not stand by their product. We placed an order for 2 USA Sim card that we meant to have prepaid access: USA Prepaid SIM Card (image), ready to use Unlimited free calls within the US to both fixed and mobile networks Unlimited free calls between two sim card users in the US Receive unlimited free calls Unlimited free MMS messages across the world 1GB (1000 MB) 3G speed Flat Rate Mobile Internet data included $12 international call balance included. Lasts for 20 hours of calls to landlines in Australia, UK, Israel, Switzerland etc. The SIM card is valid for 30 days from your departure date No contract. No hassle. No obligations. All we received was two pre-used cards that had none of the above services. available. Prepaidsim will not refund our money and now we have to go through a lengthy legal process. Beware of this company they are not professionals in the telecommunications business!

Ordered 2 Spain sims and paid 29.90 eur/each. Got free shipping and my sims arrived in just a few days. SIM works great in Spain and had internet access included plus several hours international calls included. Only backdraw was that the price for texting was high so I used facebook messenger instead. Would have given them 5/5 if the text rate in Spain was a bit lower. Value for money is however very good.
