“RUDE, NOT HELPFUL AT ALL”

Written on: 22/06/2014 by 1972Ingram (1 review written)

I would never recommend this company to anyone! They are so rude, if you need help you won't get it. They act like you are interrupting their day if you call but they SAY they are available 24/7 NO WAY! The "lady" even hung up on me! Now I read on Amazon and find I am not the first one to think they are rude and not helpful. Go somewhere else, I DID… Read Full Review

“THIS IS A SCAM!”

Written on: 12/08/2013 by DMR252 (1 review written)

Bottom line upfront: DON'T USE THIS PRODUCT!!! We were going to be traveling through Europe and I bought this SIM Card online, from OneSimCard.com, before we left because it claimed to work in every country that we were traveling to, but it didn't work in any of them. When I contacted the tech support, they gave me the "that's weird" explanation. Then, when I got back to the US and called to ask for a refund, I was told that it is not their policy to issue refunds for "technical issues" and… Read Full Review

“AVOID THIS COMPANY”

Written on: 21/07/2013 by bklynb (1 review written)

This company is the WORST - there are much better services out there. They make it seem like their fees are minimal and they gloat over the fact that Rick Steves thinks they're legit. What's more is that you'll receive a notification 10-months in informing you that you'll forfeit your balance if you don't continually recharge your account with their absurd minimum of $25 per recharge. So even if you have $24.99 in your account, the only way to keep that balance is to give them an additional $25… Read Full Review

“utter garbage”

Written on: 13/04/2013 by sim-traveler (1 review written)

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. 1) non-transparent charges. money being eaten away for no reason. no way to check where money went from. 2) horrible set-up instructions and manuals. 3) horrible website that was probably designed in 1998 4) no iphone app 3) doesn't work in some places advertised as working. in Japan, never managed to send or receive calls or SMS… Read Full Review

Onesimcard's Response to sim-traveler's Review

We have thousands of customers using our service in Japan without any problems. If you would like us to look up your account to see why texting wasn't working for you, then you will need to contact us at www.onesimcard.com/contact.php.

Our charges are completely transparent and listed online. Money does not "disappear" unless you are making calls, sending texts or using data. There are no connection fees, maintenance fees or other hidden charges of any kind.

Dialing is the same as with any other phone when abroad: 00 or + followed by the country code and phone number. For example, to call our customer service number in Boston you dial 00 1 617 313 8888.

Thank you,
OneSimCard

“customer service horrible - dropped calls”

Written on: 08/01/2013 by wdchuck1 (1 review written)

Worked well for a few days in Israel and then in Spain dropped calls after 10 second duration. Customer service is miserable - no toll-free number - 15 minute wait for customer service and then they told me that the dropped calls were my fault Bye. Bye… Read Full Review

Of course a dropped call is not "your fault", is is the fault of having a poor cell signal where you were located at the time. This can happen with any mobile service provider including your regular wireless company you use at home.

Thank you,

“Suggestions disregarded by Supervisor in Phillipines...”

Written on: 20/07/2012

I am not stupid. I tried to fill out the form to buy a "International PLUS Roaming SIM card and with PEN so I people ringing me in Australia dial me up as if I'm still in Australia. So wherever I am they can contact me on just ONE number. That is it's main attraction to me. Suggestions ( knocked back by OneSimCard); I tried several times to guess what number you wanted me to enter in the "Phone no. boxes". Did you want my International No. , for Australia:- +61 3 etc., or. (03) local… Read Full Review
