There was no way to test it from the US given the way that Verizon works, but it worked just fine with my i-phone when I arrived in England and then Lebanon. So in a way I felt lucky. Just know that it is an Estonian number and other folks are paying a lot to call it unless you set up a PEN for that country. That PEN can result in monthly charge. Many countries, particularly in middle east don't have a PEN option. Still, it gives one consistent number at reasonable cost. Not for everyone,... (read more)

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. 1) non-transparent charges. money being eaten away for no reason. no way to check where money went from. 2) horrible set-up instructions and manuals. 3) horrible website that was probably designed in 1998 4) no iphone app 3) doesn't work in some places advertised as working. in Japan, never managed to send or receive calls or SMS. Onesimcard service is the least expensive international mobile roaming service I could find. I tried other providers, like ekit or maxroam, worldsim. They all cost more and do not work as reliable as onesim. Data is very affordable now with new internet data packages. Good responsive customer service. Great user interface - easy to navigate, get calling records, activate discounts, etc. No tricks. Strongly recommend. (read more)

Of course a dropped call is not "your fault", is is the fault of having a poor cell signal where you were located at the time. This can happen with any mobile service provider including your regular wireless company you use at home.

- Agree with message by pressing "Yes"
- Dial digits "1101" and select "OK" (Screen will show "CC OptionX: ON" message)

We have thousands of customers using our service in Japan without any problems. If you would like us to look up your account to see why texting wasn't working for you, then you will need to contact us at www.onesimcard.com/contact.php.
Our charges are completely transparent and listed online. Money does not "disappear" unless you are making calls, sending texts or using data. There are no connection fees, maintenance fees or other hidden charges of any kind.
Dialing is the same as with any other phone when abroad: 00 or + followed by the country code and phone number. For example, to call our customer service number in Boston you dial 00 1 617 313 8888.
Thank you,
OneSimCard
