for some reason over the last few weeks when i have used sainsburys petrol i only seem to get half the mileage up against the mileage that i get when i use another petrol station i dont understand how this is happening but 3 times now i have put £10 into my car at another station and got at least 75 miles for that tenner. but when i put a tenner in at sainsburys i only get about 30 to 35 miles so unfortunatly i am now no longer using sainsburys petrol even if it is a few pence cheaper. has enyone else experianced this please let me know

You are not alone, but I find this happens in my car when I use Tesco fuel. Not sure nowadays, but Tesco used to be Esso supplied, and this fuel also served my car poorly. For me, I get most out of BP petrol or our local Sainsbury, which leads me to the conclusion that our local Sainsburys' has actually got BP in the tanker. My local sainsbury's is also a couple of pence cheaper than the BP across the road. Maybe it is worth trying £10 of BP to see if this gives you similar mileage to your sainsburys? Good Luck.
