Our dog needed complicated and expensive surgery. While it was not possible for the whole cost to be covered, what was covered was paid very promptly and without problem. It is unfortunate when such large costs are generated that no special assistance is given. It would seem that prices at the vet's are all going up, in much the same way as doctor's and pet insurers, like personal health insurers, will have to think hard about increasing the amounts paid for claims.
