I just received my renewal and VetsMedicover are now asking for 20% of the vets fees on a claim if your animal is over 7, after being a loyal customer for quite a few years I felt robbed. I did a bit of shopping around and although some insurer's do this most of the big ones have this change when your animal is 10 not 7.... Back to pet plan for me. Very disappointed in this company, my advice if you are looking for pet insurance is to stick with the larger companies pay, a bit more but at least you know where you stand. This is just another insurance company trying to rip you off.

VetsMediCover do offer excellent value for money compared to most other companies when you consider quality of cover against price. Co-insurance is a contentious issue but it does ensure the business thrives, premiums are reasonable and enables you to give your pet the best treatment. We hope to hear from you again.
