I have had my two cats insured with Vets Medicover since they were 10weeks old. I found them to be the most practical and best value Lifetime cover insurance I could find. Living in London meant that our insurance per cat was double of the Vets Medicover cost, yet the cover level was better, with none of the frills that to me were not iimportant. Before my application I called their centre many times with various questions, all of which we answered efficiently and promptly.

Recently poor Wilbur suffered from a UTI due to cystals. He is now on prescriptive food to help him recover. The Claims team were polite and really quick about paying. They have even paid for the prescription foods. The money went straight to my bank account with no hassle, and when they did have a question and couldn't get hold of me by phone, an email was sent to avoid delay.

What I like about them is that they have changed their policy of needing to call before treating a pet, which is not always possible. They say they will pay vets directly, but if like me, your vet prefers payment direct, then they pay to you without further questioning. This means they are responding to the needs of their customers, which makes for a great company. Their whole system is both friendly and efficient.

I know people are cautious about signing up to them as they are new insurers, but I think they have been fantastic and I am so glad that my cats are covered with them. They may be new, but Vets Medicover know what customers actually want and ensure they get it!
