“Won't except payment in full”

I have had tesco pet insurance for several years and have had to claim for one of my dogs. There was no problem with getting the money from them.

The only thing that annoys me about this policy is that they will not except payment in full but insist you pay monthly by direct debit.

Surely it should be a persons choice as they are still getting their money.

I would love an answer from Tesco Pet Insurance as to why this is as I have never came across this with any other business eg Car Insurance.
