DO NOT BUY

This pet insurance is terrible. The service i have received is appalling beyond belief. The staff are incompetent to say the least. Each claim form i sent out was either "LOST IN THE POST" or incorrectly completed by the vet. I lost my beloved pet and was asked on 2 occasions after constantly chasing up my claim "How is Paddy today" I have found this ongoing situation both distressing and extremely frustrating. The staff never phone back when they say they will, squabble over which underwriter is liable for each claim, lose documents and have no idea what is going on despite me calling on at least 8 separate occasions. The list of incompetencies is endless. My claims are still unsettled dating back to March...considering Sainsburys claim to settle within 5-10 working days, i would class this at best, poor service. I have never dealt with such awful insurers and would urge anyone considering purchasing pet insurance to take their custom elsewhere!! I have made an official complaint...to which Sainsburys havent even been curteous enough to say they have received....no surprise there!!
