Sainsburys pet insurance is not worth the paper it is written on, I submitted a claim perfectly legitimate, done in the way they asked, they refused to pay for prescription food for my dog, who was really poorly and it was essential, he was on it for 1week and weaned off on the 2nd week, BUT the office kept the claim for 2 weeks and then said it was over a month and would not pay.
I made 4 phone calls one lasting for an hour, passed back and forth to no avail.....I have cancelled......although I know I can no longer claim with any company for the same condition, now thankfully better.
I am disgusted at the wrangling involved, if they had been efficient and sorted the claim when it came to them all would have been well, they just were determined not to pay.
