When you hear about the shennagins of some pet insurance companies, I was pleasantly surprised when Petplan paid my claim in full (minus the excess of course), so full marks to them for that.
The only improvement would have been for Petplan to acknowledge receipt of my claim. After four weeks of silence, I phoned them to find out what was going on, to be told that the claim had just been settled.
