We have paid for insurance for three years and have never had need to claim, however when we really needed it they said we weren't covered. I'm very much of the opinion that I don't mind paying a bit more for insurance because I expect it to pay out when I really need it which pet plan have not done. Very very poor.

Just wait until your pet gets older THEN watch P£tplan sting you. They slap on an extra 20% on what you have to pay out (after you've paid the first £110) if the dog happens to be older than 8 years old - half the life expectancy of many dogs. A total rip off. It's cheaper for me to insure 2 motorcycles and a car (in total!) than it is to insure our 12 year old black Labrador Retriever.
