Delays, delays, delays - Claim payment

I usually find Petplan very good in paying claims. On this occasion my vet sent my claim form off on the 19th September. After some time and constantly checking Track my Claim I spoke to one of your advisers who told me no claim had been received, to contact my vet and have it e-mailed across. This I did. It arrived at your office I believe on the 3rd October and was dealt with the same day. I checked on the 4th to see that the claim had been closed. At no time did I receive an e-mail to tell me this. I rang yesterday and today and no one could tell me why I hadn't received an e-mail. I have only just 4.30 today received that e-mail. I was told yesterday it was in the post!

I am sure my vet would have sent my claim form with others on the 19th Sept, does that mean everyone else's claim has been "mislaid"!

My much loved dog has Cushings Disease, I am a pensioner and need to be paid quickly as I need the money for further treatment.

A review of your payment service needs looking at. I have put another claim into my vet and I hope when you receive that one it is dealt with as a matter of urgency.
