Been insured with this company for over 6 months and when we noticed that our dog's baby teeth had not come out on there own and these baby teeth where pushing the adult teeth badly, so we went to see a Vet for advice and they said if the teeth are not removed now they will deform our dogs mouth and cause decay and rot of adult teeth around baby teeth.

I contacted petplan about the problem and they told me I'm covered to have the teeth removed and they sent me a claim form, So I went to the Vet and had the teeth removed and the Vet completed the form and posted it off for me, the Vet said there should be no problems in the claim and refund of my costs, which I had to pay straight away.

After two month's had passed no cheque from Petplan and after three different phones calls they said the claim had not been sorted out but you should be receiving the cheque shortly, we then got a letter telling me that they will not pay because the teeth was removed for cosmetic reasons and I'm not covered, I was furious even threatening them with a solictor, but got no where, I decided to close my insurance with them and they are to refund me so much of my policy amount.

NEVER USE PETPLAN! THEY ARE IGNORANT AND WILLING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NOT WILLING TO PAY OUT.
