I got my cat 15 years ago and started a policy with Petplan - I have paid monthly by direct debit all this time and this year was the first time I have ever tried to claim. Guess what, after an emergency visit to the vets, like everyone else, I got the "We're sorry but we cannot make any payment to you" letter
Theiving B*st*rds........ no customer service, no payment, no apology, nothing - now I've cancelled all my policies with them and am advising everyone I know to do the same
Please don't get drawn in with their fancy website etc - it's all a scam to get your cash - DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE
When you get your new pet, instead of pet insurance, put the money in a savings account - at least you'll have something to put towards vets bills

Did you atleast ask they why they refused to payout, must have been a reason, and i dont think cancelling was the solution as you'r still unaware of why they've refused to payout.
