I took out the full PETPLAN insurance, including insuring my self in case of accident. I told them I am a singer/guitarist gigging on the circuit every weekend and asked if I would be covered for injury they said yes on the full insurance scheme. Paying £56 a month for almost a year. I had an accident and broke my hand so unable to play guitar. I was off work for 8 weeks. I sent them everything they needed, had to pay £25 for doctor to write on a form they sent me to prove I broke my arm. Had to send them sick notes, doctors notes everything. They first said they never recieved them even though recorded delivery.. I argued black and blue then they finally found them and then said they need to know a list of places i was meant to work at. I sent them the list of cancelled venues and then again said they never recieved it (Recorded Delivery).. Argued for hours again back n forth on hold and then they eventually found it. Then they ask me for a confirmation from every place for the 6 - 8 weeks i'm off from every venue I was meant to play that to say I was meant to be there and cancelled which is basically impossible.

Stay away from Petplan, the worst insurance I have ever been with honestly save your money and go elsewhere. If you take any note of anything I have just said just make sure you remember that these are the biggest con artists i've ever come accross.
