If I could have left a zero star rating I would. What a load of sharks!! My pet had an operation, which was to remove her dew claws, I say this so that you can see it is impossible to reacur because she no longer has them. We have loved her many years which has involved her waist line increasing, so much so she has gone from a small breed to medium breed. Thats not a problem as she is still not over weight - in the words of the vet. However, Kwikfit Pet insurance feel justified in incresing her premiums by over a whopping 100% the only difference to the policy is an increase in weight of 1.5kg. This is not my only complaint, They received the claim over a month ago and still no contact from them. They only get in touch when they inform you you need to pay more. Staff at customer services are quite obviously reading from the textbook, no one seem to comprehend what I was trying to say just kept repeating the same line. Will I continue with the policy, well if I don't they will sting me for the rest of the premiums at the increased rate. So what choice do I have, over a barrell springs to mind. Would I renew, not on your nelly. Started the complaints procedure but don't hold up much hope, as they are no longer taking on new customers they have no need to watch there ways as poor feed back is not a problem for them. In summing them up I would definately say they are not a company with any morals, would I use them for any other insurance, NO, would i reccommend them NO. Shame on you Kwikfit, your should feel ashamed of yourselves

This system was easy to operate, never used this company before, hopefully any claims we make are of a similar fast and easy nature.

Having no insurance for my dog of 5 years, I was becoming concerned in case he ever incurred any problems and being on a pension it would be quite difficult to find a large sum of money for fees should a problem arise. I went through Compare the Market, received all the options and decided on Kwikfit. There are cheaper monthly fee policies but for a little extra a month this policy seemed the best for me. It was easy to set up and the questions were clear to understand and answer with a yes or no alternative. I am very happy with the policy and it has given me complete peace of mind. I took out platinum pet insurance for my dog and 2 cats. I pay Kwik Fit nearly £130 per month for the privilege. I had my first small claim recently. It has taken 4 months and the claim is still not assessed. It has been impossible to speak with anyone with any authority about the claim. When I have managed to get through on the phone (usually after a 30 minute delay) all I am told is that there is a backlog. My emails remain unanswered. Avoid this company like the plague.

I have looked at almost all the pet insurances wanted the best policy for my new puppy and found Kwik fit didn't know they did Insurance so hers hoping I don't have to use it but it will give me piece of mind in case I do

Good provider (KwikFit). All the details available on line ie Terms & Conditions, Policy Summary, Terms of Business etc. I liked the fact that I received a Life Time 12 month term policy rather than a Life Time monthly renewable Policy with all of it's pitfalls regarding claims and hikes in payments. Could be a little more clear for the average person reading the Terms and Conditions document in relation to the definitions of Unlimited (silver policy) & limit of £20,000 (gold policy) but otherwise, a clear document. Nice too to have the Terms of Business document.

Kwik-Fit Bronze Pet Insurance. The application process was fairly easy and not too long to go through. Policy options are easy to compare. Whole process was done in minutes!

Was very easy to complete online for pet insurance and I got all the cover I needed for my collie.

Unfortunately i had to claim after my dog became unwell,there website claims five working days to settle claim,after day four i rang to track my claim,to be told it will takt 10-15days now because they are busy,what a shambles, imagine if i rang tot say my direct debit will be a day late this month,they would cancal my policy,seems like all insurance companies keen to take your money,but when you have to claim,it takes ages to get your money back,come on Kwick fit pull your finger out andget it sorted.

Not claimed yet, just taken out cover, So hopefully our Tishy will be well looked after in the future.

Pet insurance cover from a company I wouldn't normally have associated with this type of insurance. Good pet insurance cover, really good price with low excess and top cover. Checked the policy documents, which were clearly written and easy to understand. Really pleased with the level of cover and the options of cover that were available. Website was easy to negotiate, would recommend.
